This article recaps the twelfth Support Office Hours session, covering recently resolved system-wide bugs, a preview of the upcoming My Profits dashboard, the long-term vision for V2, and an extended open Q&A addressing platform mechanics, fulfillment differences, sales team commissions, and community events.
Over the past week, several calculation and display bugs affected growth plans and impact cards. The majority have been resolved, with final timing fixes rolling out within hours of this session.
Issue | Root Cause | Status |
Chat-to-card discrepancies | Entering "5 clients" in chat produced a different number in the impact card | Resolved |
"Zero clients" projections | Fractional monthly clients (e.g., 0.43) were incorrectly rounded down to zero instead of annualized | Resolved |
Revenue/client mismatches | Marketing plan revenue did not equal (clients × average ticket) due to rounding logic | Resolved |
Timing misalignments | Minor scheduling gaps introduced by the above fixes | In final testing |
Member impact: If you encountered any of these discrepancies since Friday, they should no longer appear on new plans. Existing plans generated during the bug window may still show stale data; regenerate if needed.
A new My Profits button is coming to the growth plan interface (expected within 1–2 weeks). It gives you a pre-sale profit breakdown for every marketing plan—something previously only visible in a limited view inside the console.
Per-plan profitability — revenue, wholesale cost, net profit, and margin
Per-variation breakdown — fastest, cheapest, or any custom plan created via the Agency Console
With or without ad budget — because ad spend is a pass-through, you can view margins on service fees only
Per-month cash flow — understand exactly what hits your account in Month 1, Month 3, Month 6, etc.
Product-level breakdown — identify which individual services are under-marked up over the year
The product breakdown reveals when a service is priced too low relative to its value. For example, an AI Voice Agent might be wholesaling at $1,200/year while rescuing tens of thousands of dollars in missed-call revenue. Seeing this annually may prompt you to raise the markup from 50% to 150% before sending the plan.
Key point: You can review and tweak margins before the client ever sees the plan, ensuring every proposal is profitable.
The next major evolution of the platform is V2—an open-ended, consultative system that behaves less like a structured funnel and more like a CMO or marketing partner.
V1 (Today) | V2 (Future) |
Structured discovery chat → plan → sale | Open-ended conversation: "Do I need SEO?" |
Starts with a revenue or client goal | Starts with any business question or asset review |
Funnel-optimized for closing | Consultation-optimized for education and touch points |
A business owner can ask anything: "Does my website need updates?", "Is SEO a good investment for me?"
The system uses existing agents (website scraping, conversion analysis, keyword research) to answer with real, grounded data
It functions as a Claude-like CMO with access to proprietary data and third-party APIs (e.g., Semrush-equivalent data) rather than generic AI opinions
Important: V2 is on the roadmap, but the current platform is already more than sufficient to close deals. Do not wait for V2 to begin prospecting.
Recent member wins reinforce that the current toolset is already capable of enterprise-level deals:
$136,000 closed deal (interview and case study coming soon)
$30,000 closed deal
Multiple members actively scaling
Q: If I commission a Signal product through Growbotik, is the client onboarded through Growbotik?
A: Yes. The key difference between ordering via Umbrella and ordering via Growbotik is the client experience:
Umbrella | Growbotik |
Fulfillment handled by Umbrella | Fulfillment handled by Umbrella |
No customer hub | Branded customer hub with lead stats, reports, and to-do cards |
No direct client chat support | AI + human support chat inside the platform |
Manual account management | Streamlined onboarding and task automation |
Product availability: Most Umbrella Platinum products are already in Growbotik. Notable exceptions currently being considered for migration are uSPO and uBlast. u360 (AI Voice Agent) is already present in Growbotik.
To remove a product (e.g., PPC) from a generated plan:
Open the marketing plan
Click the toggle switch next to the service you want to remove
Click Save
The plan will recalculate instantly without that service.
You are not limited to bundled 12-month growth plans. You can build custom carts:
Go to Business Accounts → select a business
Navigate to the Products section
Click Add Product and choose any service (e.g., Near Me SEO, Website Accessibility, AI Voice Agent)
Apply your pricing group or set a custom price
Add multiple products to a single cart
Add notes (e.g., "90-day contract," custom features)
Save and send the invoice
The client receives a branded checkout page with aggregated one-time and monthly fees.
Client support operates on two layers:
Layer | Handles | Notes |
AI | ~90% of inquiries | Connected to real client data (not just generic knowledge base answers) |
Human tickets | Escalated issues | Gray-labeled; no Growbotik branding is exposed |
Note: Client tickets are routed separately from member tickets. The response team represents your agency, not Growbotik.
Standalone: Available as an individual product in the cart.
Impact Report / Gap Analysis: LSA was removed from the analysis view because there is no API that allows the system to perform a true gap analysis (i.e., "here is your current state, here is the improved state"). The system can only determine fit (good candidate vs. not a good candidate). LSA lead costs and projections are still factored into the marketing plan.
An invoice preview feature is in development but not yet live. It was prioritized based on member feedback.
Growth plan usage limits are currently displayed in the Billing section. A request to surface remaining credits directly on the Growth Plans dashboard is under consideration.
The latest internal cold email test sent 50,000+ emails. Results:
Qualified show-up rate: Tightened to approximately $290 per show-up
Training on volume sending (e.g., using Instantly) is available
Swipe files and strategy guides are in the Help Center
Recommended rhythm:
First month: Touch base every 2 weeks
Ongoing: Review stats weekly and reach out as needed
Purpose of touch points:
Celebrate wins when leads are flowing
Align expectations if results are behind schedule
Remember: Marketing is based on statistical estimation, not exact math. Algorithm updates, seasonality, and competition can shift timelines. Human account management is still the best tool for retaining excitement and trust.
The Referral Hub currently provides a link to a dedicated landing page
A direct affiliate link to growbotik.com is being added
The ability to use custom affiliate landing pages is also in development
Q: Why does the sales team take 20% on an ongoing basis?
A: Two reasons:
Payment timing: Most clients pay monthly over 12 months. The sales team collects 20% of your net commission as those monthly payments arrive. If a client pays a one-time fee upfront, the 20% is taken only from that single payment.
Your net, not gross: The 20% is calculated from your agency margin, not the total client payment. If your margin is 30%, the sales team receives 20% of that 30% (effectively ~6% from the top).
The 20% covers both the closer and the SDR (appointment setter) supporting them.
To enable or learn about Sales Done For You:
In the platform: Settings → Talk to a Human → toggle on. The first activation walks you through an onboarding flow with terms and commission details.
In the Help Center: help.growbotik.com → Agency Hub → Talk to a Human (written guide and video tutorial)
The leadership team is evaluating a live member event in the United States. Based on live polling during the session, sufficient interest exists to move forward. A survey with location and date options will be sent via email around mid-month. Likely locations under consideration include Atlanta, Denver, Florida, and Texas.
System bugs are resolved. Chat inputs, impact cards, and revenue calculations are now aligned.
My Profits is coming soon. Review per-plan margins, cash flow, and product-level markups before sending proposals.
V2 will add consultative flexibility, but the current platform is already sufficient for six-figure deals.
Standalone products let you sell à la carte or build custom bundles outside of full growth plans.
Use the sales team if you are not yet comfortable closing; the 20% commission is taken from your net margin over the payment lifecycle.
Stay in touch with active clients. Weekly stat reviews and biweekly touch points in Month 1 are the best retention tools.
An in-person event is likely. Watch for a survey to vote on location and timing.
