Platform Updates & Common Questions

Support office hours 2

Overview

This article recaps key updates and Q&A from the weekly Product & Support Office Hours session. It covers new features, best practices for prospecting and targeting, pricing transparency, and answers to the most frequently asked questions about running your agency on the Growbotik platform.

Recent Product Updates

Talk to Human — Prospect Handoff to Sales

A new Talk to Human feature is now live. You can send prospects directly to the Growbotik sales team to close deals on your behalf.

  • How it works: When a prospect clicks Talk to Human in the marketing analysis, execution, or marketing plan views, they are connected to the sales team to book a meeting or speak by phone.

  • Your involvement: During setup, you can opt to be included on sales calls. If enabled, you will receive calendar invites for scheduled meetings. You are not required to join, but you may.

  • Why we ask for your contact info: The system requests your name, email, and phone number so the sales team can reach you if they need context about the client. Your prospect will not call or email you directly at those credentials.

  • Commission: You earn commissions on closed deals. Payments follow the invoice cadence (typically monthly).

Improved Plan Summary

The marketing plan summary has been redesigned. It is now more elaborate, easier to read, and more visually scannable than the previous chat-icon and text-only format.

Agency Console (Coming Soon)

The Agency Console is in final development. It will allow you to:

  • Remove or add items to a marketing plan as you see fit.

  • Share plans with clients in view-only or edit mode (similar to Google Docs), so prospects can add or remove items before signing.

Explainer Videos

Customizable explainer videos for your websites are in production. You will receive the source file so you can add your own intros, outros, or edits. The current site video is aimed at end clients (businesses), while a separate affiliate-focused video will also be made available.

Geographic Targeting & Population Requirements

A critical step during discovery is ensuring the target area has enough population and search volume to support the plan.

  • Add nearby cities: If your client is in a less populated area, add the nearest relevant cities to expand the lead pool. Otherwise, the system may not have enough data to generate a viable plan.

  • How it works: Growbotik integrates U.S. Census data and niche-specific travel/behavior patterns to group locations and estimate traffic potential. For example, a plumber in a rural area may service a 20–30 mile radius, while a hair salon in a dense urban area may only draw from a 2-mile radius.

  • Check the analysis: On every plan card, open the detailed analysis to confirm there is sufficient traffic potential for the chosen services (e.g., faucet repair, plumbing). If the audience is too small, expand the geography.

Pricing, Commissions & Financials

Commission Payments

Commissions are paid monthly, tied to the customer invoice cycle. Most business clients pay monthly, so your payouts follow that same cadence.

PPC Budget Breakdown

When a plan includes PPC (pay-per-click), the line item reflects a retail price that bundles both ad spend and management fees.

  • Retail vs. wholesale: The prices shown in generated plans are retail prices. In your agency view and on invoices, you can see the full breakdown:

    • Media spend (actual ad budget)

    • Management fee (your wholesale cost vs. retail markup)

    • Your net cut

  • Dynamic pricing: Some services (e.g., AI chatbot/voice bot usage, SEO success fees) are usage- or performance-based and cannot always be rounded to fixed numbers. Fixed subscriptions (e.g., business listings) can be marked up to a round retail price more easily.

Done For You (DFY) Opt In/Out

You can toggle DFY (sales team support) on and off as needed. However, if a prospect has already engaged with the sales team and is in an active pipeline, that deal will still route to sales even if you later opt out.

Managing Client Plans & Expectations

Editing or Removing Services

Clients may ask to swap or remove a service mid-campaign (e.g., removing Facebook). The upcoming agency console will let you make these edits.

  • Impact visibility: If a service is removed, the system will show the projected impact on the overall plan and expected ROI.

  • Philosophy: Growbotik is built around integrated, multi-channel campaigns where the sum is greater than the parts. That said, the platform is flexible—if a client insists on removing an element, you can accommodate them, and the system will adjust tracking and optimization accordingly.

ROI & Guarantees

Growbotik does not guarantee a specific ROI figure. The ROI shown in a plan is an expected outcome based on:

  • The client’s stated close rate (e.g., 30% of leads become customers).

  • The projected cost per acquisition and campaign structure.

Important: If a client states they close 30% of leads but actually closes 5%, the ROI calculation will not hold. Growbotik guarantees execution, timely delivery, and ongoing optimization—not end-business sales performance. Some individual services (e.g., SEO) include performance-based guarantees where you are not charged until results are achieved.

Optimization Behind the Scenes

Once a plan is live, the platform continuously monitors and adjusts every element:

  • Traffic is matched against expected outcomes.

  • The system evaluates which channels are performing best.

  • Recommendations are made to shift budget or tactics (e.g., reducing PPC if costs spike while SEO gains traction).

Target Market & Business Fit

Ideal Client Profile

Growbotik is currently optimized for local U.S. service businesses targeting consumers in their geographic area (B2C). Examples include:

  • Home services (plumbers, roofers, HVAC)

  • Health services (dentists, clinics)

  • Professional services (local lawyers, accountants)

  • Retail and local studios (yoga studios, salons, restaurants)

Who Is Not a Good Fit (Today)

  • B2B-focused companies: The platform is not currently optimized for B2B verticals.

  • National or international businesses: The data models, census integrations, and optimization logic are built around local radius targeting.

  • Canada: Canadian business support is not yet live. The platform currently relies heavily on U.S. Census data.

Do They Need a Website or Google Business Profile?

A website and Google Business Profile are strong signals of fit, but they are not absolute requirements. The key question is: Does the business primarily serve local clients through its own city/region? If yes, they are likely a good candidate.

White Label, Gray Label & Referral Branding

Label Type

What It Means

Gray Label

Uses a generic, non-branded domain (MP Planner Pro). No visible connection to Growbotik. You can claim it as your own product.

White Label

Uses your custom domain. All customer-facing URLs (marketing plan, customer hub) are branded under your domain.

Referral Signups

Referred affiliates or sub-accounts sign up on a Growbotik-branded page. Your commissions are tracked inside the referral hub.

Referral Hub & Collateral

  • Referral resources: Assets and collateral are available in your Referral Hub. Additional affiliate materials are added continuously.

  • Explainer videos: You will receive videos you can use to attract affiliates and end clients. These are white-label ready—no Growbotik branding is shown in the client-facing versions.

  • Notifications: New features and assets are announced via in-platform notifications, support widget news, and email updates.

Training & Webinar Replays

All recorded sessions are hosted on the Help Center:

  3. Select TRAINING → Live Webinar Replays

Replays include segmented highlights for easier navigation. New webinars are typically uploaded within 24–48 hours. You can also register for upcoming live webinars (Itamar’s, Barry’s, and Product/Support sessions) from the same page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if another member already approached my prospect?
If the lead was provided by Growbotik (Umbrella), the system manages deduplication. If you found the prospect independently, overlap is extremely unlikely across the entire U.S. market. Do not let fear of duplication stop you from reaching out broadly.

Q: How much time do I need to spend per client per month?
After the client signs and the plan is executing, your direct time involvement is minimal. The system handles onboarding, execution, reporting, and optimization. You can stay involved at whatever level you choose, but the platform is designed to run autonomously.

Q: Can my clients see their own reporting dashboard?
Yes. Every paying client gets access to a Customer Hub where they can view leads, reports, and a to-do list of items needed to keep campaigns running. You can also use View As from your Agency Hub to log into their dashboard and help them complete tasks.

Q: How do I disconnect an incorrectly connected Stripe account?
You can disconnect Stripe from your end, but only if there are no active plans tied to it. If a plan is active, you must resolve billing first.

Q: What if a prospect says they can just use Claude (or ChatGPT/Gemini) for marketing?
General AI tools provide generic answers and workflows. They do not:

  • Integrate real-time proprietary and third-party data sources.

  • Execute multi-channel campaigns across Google, Facebook, etc.

  • Take payment, manage spend, distribute funds, or guarantee execution.

  • Continuously optimize based on live traffic, calls, and form leads.

Growbotik leverages best-of-breed LLMs as part of its infrastructure, but the value is in the full-cycle system: grounded analysis, integrated planning, automated execution, and ongoing optimization.
