Influence / Community Method

System & Client Getting 1.1

This article covers how to prospect businesses through Facebook and LinkedIn groups using an influencer positioning strategy, including ready-to-use post templates and admin partnership tactics.

Two Ways to Position Yourself

When prospecting in communities, you have two positioning options:

Positioning

Approach

Best For

Agency

"I provide this service to you"

One-to-one outreach, direct sales

Influencer

"I found this amazing tool for us [niche professionals]"

Group posts, community engagement

The influencer angle often performs better in groups because it feels less like a pitch and more like peer-to-peer value sharing. You can still operate as an agency behind the scenes, but inside niche communities, the influencer hat builds trust faster.

Example niches to target: Roofing, HVAC, home services, beauty and wellness, dental, legal, real estate.

Finding and Joining Groups

Where to Look

  • Facebook: Search for niche-specific groups (e.g., "Roofers," "Roofing Contractors," "HVAC Professionals").

  • LinkedIn: Search for industry associations and professional networks (e.g., "Atlanta Realtor Association," "American Dentist Network").

Group Quality Check

  • Look for groups with tens of thousands of members.

  • Some are strict about promotional content; others are more lenient.

  • Some are local, some national — test both.

  • Note that some members may be suppliers or marketers, not actual business owners.

Two Entry Strategies

  1. Post as a member — Join, provide value, build credibility, then share.

  2. Partner with the admin — Reach out privately, show them the tool, and offer a revenue share in exchange for a group-wide endorsement.

Why admins matter: When a group admin posts, members receive email notifications. One admin endorsement can reach the entire community instantly.

The Influencer Post Templates

Your posts should feel like a peer sharing a discovery, not a vendor selling a service. Customize the templates below with your niche and voice.

Long Group Post Template

Hey all, I have something important to share. I think it will make a lot of folks here happy.

All of us always look to land new clients, but how many discovery calls have you sat through just to get a simple quote or strategy? Not getting hard data answers like exactly how much it would cost to acquire a client, or when I will reach my revenue goal. There are many reasons why they can't deliver these numbers, but I'll get to that after I give you the big news.

Now, finally, we can get precise CAC, predictable revenue, and ROI before spending a dime on marketing or consultants. And even better, it takes five to 10 minutes.

It's a new age marketing platform developed by the leading technological and marketing minds in the industry. It was recently launched but already went viral in the marketing community. This is not AI-generated fluff. You'll get real precision backed by hard data.

One: You chat with it for a few minutes and provide some information about your business.

Two: It does a full gap analysis between your current marketing efforts and potential. It analyzes your organic and paid efforts, conversion funnel, ROI, and more. It's super personalized. For example, it knows how well your SEO or PPC efforts are, even how good your reviews are in comparison to your competitors without you telling it.

Three: It generates a 12-month growth plan with revenue projection, cost, ROI, and marketing services breakdown for every month. Find out exactly how much it would cost to bring in a client. No guesswork.

Four: If you want, it executes the entire thing for you.

And guess how much it costs to get this analysis and growth plan? A big fat zero. Yes, they only make money if you decide to execute it with them.

[Your Chat Link]

Like I mentioned, it's free and amazing, but before you use it, a few important pointers I learned when using it. Overall, it's extremely easy. It took me about three minutes to finish the discovery chat and about another six minutes for it to finalize the gap analysis and growth plan. However, I did run into one issue. It currently only works for businesses that have a website and a Google Business profile. They say they'll be able to support businesses without a website or GBP by August. Outside of that, give it a good answer, and it will tell you exactly how it will reach your revenue goal.

BTW, there is an option to talk with them once you've passed the discovery chat. After you try it, please share your feedback.

Short Group Post Template

Use a punchier, shorter version for groups that prefer brevity or for follow-up posts. (A short-template variation is available in the training materials — adapt the long version above by trimming the origin story and jumping straight to the value proposition.)

Why Use "They" Instead of "I" or "We"

Inside niche groups, you are an outsider. Members get pitched constantly. Using "they" positions you as a peer who discovered something valuable, rather than a marketer who owns or sells something.

Approach

Perception

"They built this amazing platform…"

Peer recommendation, trusted discovery

"I built this / My agency offers this…"

Sales pitch, immediate skepticism

The psychology: When you say "we roofers" or "we HVAC pros" and talk about "them" (the platform creators), you pull people in. You're one of the group sharing a find, not an outsider asking for a sale.

If pressed directly, be honest: "Yes, I'm a marketer in the roofing niche, and I found this system — it's working amazingly well." But lead with peer value first.

Follow-Up Tactics: Show, Don't Just Tell

After your initial post, keep the thread alive with proof:

  1. Run a growth plan for a real business in that niche.

  2. Share the analysis link in the group with a note like:
"A lot of people reached out, so here's a real example. This is Bell Roofing's gap analysis. Notice the lifetime ROI and the month-by-month breakdown."

  3. Share the growth plan link and highlight specific numbers.

  4. Repeat with different examples every few days.

This turns a static post into an ongoing conversation and social proof engine.

Partnering with Group Admins

Admins are the fastest multiplier in group prospecting.

How to Approach Them

  1. Join the group and post valuable content first.

  2. Reach out privately and invite them to try the tool for free.

  3. Once they see the value, propose a collaboration.

Admin Collaboration Post (Example)

"I was talking with one of our members, [Your Name], and she introduced me to this platform. I was blown away. Look at the marketing plan that I got. I wanted to share it with everybody. Guys, here's a free link — you can all use it."

Revenue Share Setup

There is no automated rev-share feature inside Growbotik for admin partnerships, but you can track it easily:

Option A: Dedicated Pricing Group (Recommended for One-Off Admin Deals)

  1. In your Growbotik dashboard, go to Prices.

  2. Create a new pricing group named after the group/admin (e.g., "Atlanta Real Estate Network — Admin Rev Share").

  3. Add your standard markup (or slightly higher to cover the rev share).

  4. Use only that group's chat link when sharing in that community.

  5. At month-end, check billing/revenue tied to that specific pricing group and pay out the agreed percentage manually.

Option B: Referral Hub

  1. Send the admin your referral link.

  2. They sign up as a Growbotik agency (minimum $95/month tier).

  3. You earn ambassador commissions (up to 40%) on their subscription and their client growth plans automatically.

  4. This works best if the admin wants to build their own agency, not just take a one-time rev share.

Tip: Lead with value first. Get them excited about the tool before discussing money.

Important Prerequisites

  • Social profile: Keep your LinkedIn or Facebook profile active. Post articles, insights, and niche-related content so you don't look like a blank account dropping links.

  • Customization: Do not copy-paste the exact same post across hundreds of groups. Use AI (ChatGPT, Gemini) to rewrite the template in your voice, adjust tone, and niche-specific language.

  • Geography: Growbotik currently works for US businesses only. Canada, UK, and Australia support is targeted for September–October.

Your Action Plan

  1. Search Facebook and LinkedIn for 3–5 active groups in your chosen niche.

  2. Join as a member and observe the tone/rules for a day or two.

  3. Customize the long post template for your niche using AI.

  4. Post the value-first message with your chat link.

  5. Follow up 2–3 days later with a real growth plan example.

  6. Reach out to the group admin privately and offer a trial + rev share.

  7. Create a dedicated pricing group for each admin partnership to track revenue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Should I post from a personal or business profile? A: On LinkedIn, use your professional profile. On Facebook, a personal profile often feels more authentic in niche groups, but a well-maintained business page can work too.

Q: Why can't I just say I'm the agency? A: You can, and that works for direct email or one-to-one outreach. In groups, however, the influencer angle reduces resistance because members are tired of being sold to by outsiders.

Q: How do I track revenue share with an admin? A: Create a unique pricing group for each partnership. Only use that group's chat link in that community. Revenue tied to that pricing group is easily tracked in your billing area.

Q: Can I use the same post in multiple groups? A: No. Customize each post for the niche and platform. Hundreds of members posting identical copy will be flagged as spam and hurt everyone's credibility.

Q: What if the admin wants a formal rev-share agreement? A: The pricing group method lets you track everything manually. If they want automated tracking, onboard them via your referral link so they become a sub-agency under your ambassador account.
