The Business Listings section evaluates how accurate and consistent your business information is across online directories like Google, Yelp, Bing, and others. It focuses on your name, address, and phone number (NAP) and checks whether this information matches across different platforms. This section is considered a foundational signal for local visibility and trust.

Accurate business listings help customers find and contact your business easily. When your information is consistent across directories, it strengthens trust and improves your visibility in search results and maps. If listings are missing or inconsistent, it can reduce your chances of being discovered and weaken the performance of other channels like SEO and Near Me SEO.

The performance score is based on how consistent and accurate your business information is across directories. It is measured on a 0–100 scale.
Main Listing Score (33.33%):
Focuses on the most important platforms, especially Google and a key secondary listing (like Yelp). These carry more weight because they have the biggest impact on visibility.
Total Listings Score (20%):
Reflects overall accuracy across a wider set of directories (around 50 sites). This shows how consistent your business information is across the broader web.
A low score means your business information is inconsistent, missing, or incorrect across multiple platforms.

Each directory (Google, Yelp, Bing, etc.) represents a place where your business information appears online.
Green indicators = correct match
Red indicators = incorrect or missing data
“No listing found” means your business does not exist on that directory.
“No reviews found” means there is no available review data for that listing.
Each listing checks:
Business name
Address
Phone number
Even small mismatches reduce accuracy.

The score is low because:
Multiple directories have no listing at all (Bing, YP, EZlocal, MapQuest)
Some listings have missing or incorrect data (e.g., Facebook missing phone)
There are inconsistencies in address formatting across platforms
Some listings exist but have no supporting data like reviews
Since each field is evaluated strictly as match or no-match, these issues significantly reduce the score.

Business listings do not directly generate leads, but they play a critical supporting role.
Strong listings → better local visibility
Better visibility → stronger SEO and map rankings
Stronger rankings → more calls and leads
Missing or inconsistent listings weaken this entire chain and reduce customer acquisition over time.
To improve performance:
Fix name, address, and phone inconsistencies across all directories
Create missing listings on major platforms (Bing, YP, MapQuest, etc.)
Remove duplicate or outdated listings
Standardize formatting across all platforms
Ensure all key listings are fully completed and accurate
The biggest impact comes from fixing core data consistency on major directories first.
The Business Listings product is designed to solve your gaps in listing accuracy and local visibility.
