Speed to Lead is a scored channel inside the Impact Report that measures how quickly your business responds to incoming calls and form submissions. It calculates the impact your current response time is having on lead conversion and shows exactly how many additional leads and clients you could recover by responding faster.
Speed to Lead is accessible from the Impact Report section of your Customer Hub. It appears as a score card alongside the other marketing channels in the Marketing Gap Snapshot.
Research consistently shows that the first business to follow up with a lead is the most likely to win the job. When a prospect calls or submits a form and does not receive a quick response, they move on to the next available provider. Every minute of delay reduces the probability of converting that lead into a paying customer.
Speed to Lead makes this cost visible. Instead of guessing how much slow response times are affecting your business, you can see the exact number of leads and clients being lost each month to delayed follow-up.
Speed to Lead receives a score from 0 to 100, just like every other channel in the Impact Report. The score reflects how your current response times compare against an optimized benchmark. A higher score means your response times are closer to optimal. A lower score means there is significant room for improvement and a measurable number of leads being lost to slow follow-up.
Clicking on the Speed to Lead card opens the full detail page. At the top, a summary statement shows your current response times for calls and forms, the optimized target, and the projected number of additional leads and clients you could recover each month by reaching that target.

The Projected Monthly Impact section shows the estimated growth potential from optimizing your response speed. It contains three components:
Response Efficiency: Displays your current response time and the optimized target for both Calls and Forms separately. Each shows a percentage lift representing the improvement available. A progress bar visualizes how far your current response time is from the optimized benchmark.
Added Leads: The projected number of additional leads per month your business could capture by reducing response times to the optimized target. The percentage shown represents the projected increase over your current lead volume.
New Clients: The projected number of additional paying clients per month that would result from the added leads, based on your closing rate.
All projections are calculated per 100 leads to normalize the figures across different business sizes and lead volumes.
The Speed to Lead score is one of the inputs that shapes your Growth Plan. A low score indicates that improving response speed is a high-impact opportunity for your business. The Growth Plan may include services specifically designed to address this gap, such as the AI Voice Agent for missed calls or Automated CRM Workflows for instant form follow-up.
Completing the corresponding To-Dos is what enables Growbotik to begin improving your Speed to Lead score.
Your current response times are based on the information you provided during Discovery. If your response times have changed since then, contact your account manager to update your Discovery data so your Speed to Lead score reflects your current situation.
The optimized target is 5 minutes for both calls and forms. This benchmark is based on research showing that responding within 5 minutes dramatically increases the likelihood of converting a lead before they contact a competitor.
No. The score updates automatically as Growbotik implements improvements and your response metrics change. If your score appears incorrect, contact your account manager.
If your response times already meet the optimized benchmark, your Speed to Lead score will be high and the projected additional leads and clients will be minimal. The Impact Report will reflect that your business is already performing well in this area.
